Like a Phoenix rising from her ashes, Hill Hall was completely restored after a tragic fire that gutted the oldest building on Savannah State University's campus. Becoming the heart and soul of student services, the building was authentically restored because of the extensive documentation of historically significant design and detailing beforehand. Now Hill Hall is the central symbol of Savannah State's aspirations for her student body. This project was nominated for the National Register of Historic Places and incorporated distinguished restoration and adaptive rehabilitation.
