The Sabal House Hotel and President Quarters Inn incorporates a complementary new-build project located next to one of Savannah's most treasured historic mansions -- The Owens Thomas House & Slave Quarters. This center of hospitality will be located in one of the original six squares of James Oglethorpe's urban plan. Careful study of the surrounding architecture was translated into this design. The historic building will be renovated to include new room keys and will refresh and restore the 1980's renovation that has welcome guests for many years. The new hotel will be a timeless piece of architecture, made with mass timber, cast stone and brick masonry. It is intended to enhance, restore, and celebrate some of Savannah's greatest moments in culture, architecture, and time.
